` First day of the Buddha Festival`

Today is the first day of the Buddha Festival.

-lion dance performance with 3 Buddha statues behind them-

It is always held at South Bank and it's pretty much the same every year =__= The first time I went was quite fun but yeah...

I just watched the lion dancing and some children perform martial arts for 30 mins then I left to join my friends.

Now there are just 4 weeks left until my projects are due! WAAAAAAAH!!!

Project One: Editing !

Project Two: Need to do storyboards ! D= Plus find an appropriate location on campus to film it.

I also found out that my order from Asia-Fashion Wholesale (AFW) has finally come in! The soompier sent out the parcels yesterday I should receive it by Tuesday or Wednesday. Can't wait ! I'm really really hoping they will fit me alright >o<

On Tuesday I also did a lil bit of shopping in the city. My friend told me about this cute korean accessory store called Cozy Corner. Seems like it's just opened. I walked in and the girls were so friendly ~ The jewellery seemed cheap and quite nice. So much better than Diva fo`sure! I ended up buying 3 cute hairties and 2 earrings.

-$2 each!-

-I don't remember how much these were but they're nice as !-

I also bought a new cleanser from The Body Shop (TBS). First time using TBS skincare products and it works fairly decent. Nothing too outstanding. It's just a cleanser lol

And some random hat my brother brought home from the Buddha Festival...because he went too!

Today I had a day off of work due to it being Anzac Day.
And I took this opportunity to go and film for my assessment.
So on Friday arvo I had to carry the (heavy!) camera equipment all the way home =_=

Yeah so I got to my friend's house around 9.30am and start setting up the equipment while waiting for another friend to show up. We didn't start until 10.30am or so.
So off we filmed for, like, 4 hours. Of course we had an hour lunch break. By the end of the day, I'm somewhat satisfied by what I've filmed today. I wasn't happy with the tripod coz it was so difficult to get it standing straight and level. We even managed to incorporate some new scenes that I didn't even originally add in!

I am also just a tad concerned about the green screen part...>o< aissssh!

Unfortunately I didn't take as many photos as I would like during the process. In fact, it would've been nice if someone was taking Behind the scenes shots while I was filming but no...=[ Perhaps next time in future...

Now I just have to carry the equipment, via train and walking, back to campus on Tuesday morning! =O

My masterpiece. I call it 'Animal Kingdom'

-Just some crazy stuff I got up to with my friend's collection of stuffed toys haha. The brown cat at the very bottom looks a lil sad =P-

-My friend owns a slanty cup and my other friend owns a slanty lipstick LOL-

-On another one of our breaks-

-Love You!-

Loooong weekend coming up!

-tried taking a photo of the moon last night & it came out like this O_o-

I've been fairly busy lately. I found out on Wednesday I have about 5-6 weeks left until both of my projects are due for my course =__= I am soooooo behind on my second one...I haven't found someone who can act in it either =[

But this Sunday I will be filming for my first project, the Mirror one. I'm looking forward to it! Want to film, capture and start editing! I still have to search for background music to accompany the footage too...Another thing to add to my list~!

I was looking through photos on my camera (since I finally recharged the batteries!) and I came across this:

It taste...weird...but hey! First time for everything! I haven't tried Durian yet either but apparently people in Asia pay high money for those. I dislike the fact they're spiky =X

And I cleaned out my wardrobe. Replaced the summer with winter clothes coz it's getting colderrrr. Yea...I got black clothes...a fair bit...

Yes...after I told myself, "you're doing well not spending unnecessarily!" I go and spend like $160 on stuff lol

Ok well 2 of those 'stuff' were important...I went to a furniture store to buy a new shelf to put my crap (being books & cds & dvds) into since my mum took my other one =_= We find this nice small white one, only costing $100. Then as we were browsing I came across this computer chair discounted from $300 to $200 =D So darn comfy!!! And bigger than my current one too~So I put that one on layby for now.

Then I confirmed an order I've placed through a soompier. I'll be getting these 3 dresses in a few weeks time, I hope!

(My fave one of the 3. I just hope it fits me alright >o<)

`My 7th day of being on holidays

Today I went out with a high school friend to go and see a movie. We both particularly wanted to see 'How to Train Your Dragon' in 3d and so we did! The 12.30pm session was full so we had to get the next session, which was 2.45pm.

We bought our tickets then headed out to ChinaTown for yum cha. My friend kept telling me she was wanting to eat a char siu bao XD I just lol`ed when she told me that. So off we went. We only ate 6 dishes among the two of us and we were full already ! Ended up costing $26.80 ~ not too bad ~

~Restuarant we ate at~

Then I had to go the chinese supermarkets to buy my crap but ended up only buying this Hello Kitty white chocolate candy, which DOES NOT taste like white chocolate at all =3 My friend got this lychee drink, which as she described 'like having a party in your mouth'~ it was fizzzzzzzy

~The chocolate inside was shaped as HK's head~

After that we went back to the cinemas to watch the movie. It. was. bloody. packed. T_T I'm thankful we bought our tickets early.

Alrighty. How to Train Your Dragon was a FANTASTIC movie! I loved it! I enjoyed it thoroughly without thinking how animators did this or that. There was a scene, that was shown in the trailer as well, where Hiccups says to Toothless (the dragon) "thanks for nothing, you useless reptile." in this bored voice hahaha Toothless is so darn cute`! He's my fave character =P

(I had a nagging feeling that Toothless looked familiar from somewhere. Reading someone's blog turns out he resemble Stitch...true that.)

The ending was something I was NOT expecting, that's fo`sure. It was still a happy ending but still it was a little bit sad what happened to Hiccups.

I recommend watching this movie. It gives the audience feelings of happiness, sadness, anticipation and much more.

I also bought this Hello Kitty phone strap for $2 from this Gacha machine in ChinaTown XD

First time clubbing~!

So last night was my first time clubbing.

Line was long...very long .___.

Security wouldn't allow me to bring my water bottle in =[

Entrance was $20 since I didn't bring my student ID. I didn't think it would that expensive but w/e.

It was pretty much pumping when I got inside. I joined up with friends and we just danced. It wasn't until they started playing familiar songs that I got into it xD

It was fun ^_^

Devil wears Prada

I remember the first time I watched it, I had no clue as to what PRADA was. Partly the reason was because I was still young and didn't care about designer brands.

After that I quite enjoyed the movie, watching the main character transform from this average-looking girl to this glamorous girl who knew her stuff.

This movie was on again tonight. This time watching I was watching for the camera angles and how they filmed it. My first favourite scene is at the VERY beginning when these 3-4 different women are seen putting on their clothes and it cuts to each person pulling on the same item of clothing.

My next favourite scene is when the main character begins to dress more fashionably. She crosses the road wearing one outfit then a truck drives past and it shows her wearing a different outfit. She enters the building wearing like a brown jacket and as she walks past the wall her clothes change to another outfit.

I know it's just the editing but I like it.
Doing that second scene I was talking must've taken a while but must've been fun for Anne Hathaway, dressing up in all those different outfits~

I really need (and want)to watch more movies.
